Twestival – Imogen Remixes, Beck, Twitter, Charity

Ok, so the site is a bit poorly executed; but Twestival.fm contains everything good in the world: Imogen Heap, music, charities, and Twitter! Teaming up with CharityWater.org, a number of artists offer their songs for free. You can download the track. All they ask is that you tweet your favorite song, and donate $5.00 in the process.

Imogen had an unrecorded vocal section she recorded for a TV show that shall go unnamed (because I don’t know what it was). Rather than throwing the song away, she uploaded all the vocal tracks, the click track, the works, and asked people to remix it. There’s an entire page of remixes from fans. Pretty rad!
