Snow Patrol just released a new album, “A Hundred Million Suns” and while it’s better than their last disc; it still misses the “Final Straw” mark. For those of you who never heard the alumb “Final Straw” that needs to change. The disc “Eyes Open” wasn’t too bad; but it seemed overly poppy and a bit cheesey to me.
So, I was hoping their new album would return a bit to those darker, off-beat, and anti-melodic style. It does in a few spots; but for the most part it maintains that downstrum guitar driven beats.
