The place they put the show on at pays coldplay and the place where the concert is at decides how much tickets cost to get their money back and make some. Obviously they do that. How much of their fanbase can really afford those tickets without putting a large dent in their wallets? I paid around $75 for the Cure this year, but that was only because I waited until the LAST SECOND OF THE LAST MINUTE and I had to get it off some site other than ticketmaster. The original price was less than half of that, I think. And some other band, I forgot which one, I didn't go to the concert but the tickets started at around $15.00. Seriously, Coldplay tickets are way too expensive. How much of their fanbase can really afford those tickets without putting a large dent in their wallets?
